The Sporting Chance Foundation is a registered charity founded by Martin Lightbody as a legacy of his passion for sports and the opportunities sport gave him in life and in business.
We recognise sport as a power for good and we want to create opportunities for young people to access and participate in sports to improve their lives and futures.
Sport teaches discipline, gives confidence, creates role models and promotes sociability. We want to use sport as a vehicle to encourage independence, improve self esteem and allow participants an opportunity to form positive relationships.
“Our vision is of a world where more people are more active more often; a world where everyone has a sporting chance.”
